     103.  Reading and Dictation Practice
            Dear Sir: In your report, upon which you are working and that you tell
            me will be complete today, it will be your first duty
            to explain fully the nature of our steadily increasing heavy
            expenses.

            We shall expect you to bring your report to a special committee
            meeting this evening rather than sending it as you usually
            do.

            You will be glad to hear that our
            section head remarks to us today that he would accept your
            word regarding the method employed by out house in our
            aim to reduce waste to a minimum.  He knows
            that you have gone further into an analysis of particulars than
            any of the others in our company and will give us
            some good thoughts on these questions.

            I suppose that if the truth about our finances were known by every official
            in our company, they would follow your opinion in a body and let
            nothing change their decision. Very truly yours,
